Sailesh Thaker –
Vice President, Industry and Stakeholder Relations, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC)
Sailesh Thaker brings more than 20 years of management experience in technology and telecommunications to SDTC. Over the course of his career he has served in various management and executive capacities, most recently as President of Spectrocan. Previously, he has worked as Vice President at global engineering companies such as AMEC and Agra Monenco. During his career, Mr. Thaker has developed a network that extends through federal government departments and NGOs to Fortune 500 companies and international institutions. Multilingual, Sailesh speaks English, French, Swahili and Gujarati.
Mr. Thaker obtained his Bachelor of Science, Molecular Genetics option and Masters level Computer Science education from Montreal’s McGill University.
